2017 was a great year for film. Thank you kindly, Millennium movie Gods!!! All in all I watched, from my count, 423 films in 2017. That may sound like a lot to some but I plan on smashing that in 2018. The films on this list will consist of what I consider the 17 Best and 10 Worst of 2017, 10 Best Horror, 3 WTF can my brain not unsee, 10 Best Shorts and 9 films that many may have missed. These films are based on my personal judgement experiencing it at the time, reminiscing after and speaking to others about the film and the impact it had on me. These may not be everyone’s best or worst and there are a few I was unable to see before 1/1/2018, (Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Post, The Mummy), but these are what I have chosen and I’m always happy to discuss people’s thoughts and opinions, the key word being discuss.
